Beneath a car park, behind the shopping precinct in Dalston lies a disused World War II bunker, a mysterious, damp, dark labyrinth. From the 7th - 10th October this subterranean world will be home to David J.Smith & Amanda Whittle’s sculptural installations. In conjunction with the exhibition Smith and Whittle have curated a programme of performances and short films by several prominent London based artists including Melanie Clifford, Sophie Tom, The Stargazer’s Assistant, Tai Shani, Neil Taylor, Disinformation, Raagnagrok, Nicola Counsell and Esmeralda Muñoz-Torrero. Opening night (7th) 6.30-11.30pm, (8th & 9th) 12-10pm, (10th) 12-5pm. (Performances start at 7.30pm -7th, 8th, 9th).
